Wow and that went fast all of a sudden. Holland raced through the 10.000 positive Covid-19 tests today, a new record! I guess the measures which were taken last week hopefully should see some effect over the next couple of days, or otherwise I a kind of worried where this is heading to. https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/03/11/15/06/covid-19-4922384_1280.jpg [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/covid-19-virus-coronavirus-pandemic-4922384/) I have written before about how all data which has been collected and released over the year regarding Covid is often something to take with a grain of salt. Also comparing this second wave to data from the first one is hardly doable, since the conditions are so different at the moment. In wave 1 almost no one was tested in Holland. Only when you would land on the doorstep of the hospital half dead with pulmonary complaints, then maybe by the grace of God you would be able to get a test done. So the data which was collected about positive testresults then was biased if you compare it to the total amount of patients back then. ![]() https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/04/15/19/23/respirator-5047906_1280.jpg [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/respirator-mask-ppe-corona-5047906/) Say my normal surgical department would have 30 operating rooms. Currently then we only would have 15 rooms running with all the shortages pileing up for when (god knows when) this is all over. We are still treating oncology and other acute diseases but so many things are postponed again with all the consequences which we will only see afterwards in a couple of months. Regular healthcare is literally on pauze now. Now I get it that so many people are not behind the current measures lockdowns and all those other things. Yes, it does cost tons of money and jobs are lost. It is true. But the situation where if you have an acute appendicitis and you can and will not be treated is also lurking around the corner, which we should avoid at so many costs. The hospitals are just filling up and it will not take all too long before they are acutually full. ![]() Originally posted: https://hive.blog/covid-19/@karinxxl/holland-bursts-through-the-10-000-positive-covid-tests-my-perspective-on-this

My HiveFamily knows my love to healthy life and food, and now I'd like to share my new experience with you;) Do you know Ghee oil, guys? Here in Russia it's known just as "melted butter", and now it's now widely used. Though early it was extremely popular! My Dad told me that in his childhood his family cooked everything using just this very oil. Wisdom of ancestors! I've heard much about Ghee oil and bought it some times in healthy stores, but it was rather expensive!! about 6-7$ for 200g! Really much because 1kg of butter (it can be made exactly from it) costs nearly the same money. So it's 5 times more expensive! I doubted that I would be able to cook it by myself, so I bought it. But then I tried...and I succeed! as far as I can get it. At least it's the same as I bought in the stores! *So why am I so interested in this oil?* Originally posted: https://hive.blog/ocdb/@taliakerch/diy-handmade-ghee-oil-a-miracle-for-health-and-cookery

The first habit that I love is that I usually walk, run and hike, and in fact I do it constantly, yes, although since the quarantine and the covid happened it has become impossible because I have problems breathing well and then Imagine putting a mask on all that, hahaha, suicide, at the moment I take short walks sporadically. The second healthy habit is what I eat, I regularly buy fruits to eat and vegetables, I try to balance my diet, although I confess that I am not that much of a meat lover, in fact once I tried to be vegetarian but it did not turn out very well because chicken is my weakness, but beyond all this, adding enough fruits to your food helps you with your health, physical and emotional state. Lastly, I have a habit that I consider healthy and that is that I like to express myself and I do it in various ways, I like to write and then I start to vent and get out nice things, in fact many times I see quotes that I like and I write them down on my notebook, these also help me to make mantras, a mantra is like some phrases that are recited, so I recite pleasant words that help me focus my mind, in fact this comes from Hinduism and they believe that it has magical and spiritual powers, It works very well for me. And one of the last things I do every night is get out of the house, gaze up at the sky, and raise my arms, as high as I can, tilt my head back and take a couple breaths. Why am I doing this? Because it is my way of saying goodbye to the day and I take the opportunity to release all the energy that I have been holding, after doing this I feel very good.

![]() Wednesday was a healthy day as I almost exclusively ate soup my mother made yesterday. It wasn't the most productive day and I really have to get back to doing my reps and hot yoga sessions. I did buy the PS4 version of Minecraft to test out in vr which was quite fun. On Thursday I will be playing tennis and handicapping/watching the Europa League matches from the Belgian Teams.
